Summit is relatively young coming into existing in1998 after much sole searching by their leader Garry Erb.

Having toured to the east coast of Canada, with a group call Messiahs Minsteral, in the early 70’s, Garry left the group and started a family and a construction business. Music remained a vital part of Garry’s life and for the next 20 years or so Garry was dong solo work around Central Ontario.

“Over the years people have asked me if I will start another group and I have said no.’ ‘However during the early part of 1998 I began to feel the Lord pressing me to get another group going.’ ‘I told God if he wanted me to start another group he would have to put it together.’ ‘He did and Summit was born”, says Garry.

By asking Jesus Christ into our life, accepting we are sinners and acknowledging our need for a savior we can begin to meet God. For the Bible tells us in John 3:16 that God so loved the world that he gave his only son that anyone who believes in him will not die but have eternal life. Jesus said that he loves everyone and if you come to him and ask him to help you he will.

In a world full of fear and turmoil it is exciting to realize the God who made the entire universe is interested in you and me. Not only interested in us but wants to help us become the best people we can become. That’s GOOD NEWS.
